We believe families deserve clarity about costs upfront. Here's everything you need to know about how we handle fees and insurance.
We are currently private pay and do not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service, and we accept all major credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and checks.
Being private pay allows us to focus entirely on your child's needs — without insurance-driven constraints on session length, frequency, or treatment approach. We get to do what's actually best for your family.
We can provide a superbill — a detailed receipt with the billing codes your insurance company needs — that you may submit for potential out-of-network (OON) reimbursement. Many families are surprised by how much their plan covers.
Before your first session, we recommend asking your insurer:
Occupational therapy is generally an eligible expense under Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). We accept HSA and FSA cards directly, making it easy to use pre-tax dollars for your child's care.
We recommend confirming eligibility with your HSA/FSA provider, as rules can vary by plan.
We're happy to discuss our fee structure, answer insurance questions, and help you figure out the best path forward for your family. Please reach out — no question is too small.
Accepting insurance directly requires us to justify every session with diagnostic codes, adhere to insurance-approved treatment limits, and spend significant time on administrative overhead. By being private pay, we can offer flexible session lengths, focus on your child's whole developmental picture, and spend our energy on care — not paperwork. We believe this results in better outcomes for families.
After each session (or monthly, if preferred), we'll provide a superbill with all the information your insurer needs — CPT codes, diagnosis codes, provider NPI, and service dates. You submit this directly to your insurance company, either online through their member portal, by mail, or by fax. Your insurer will then process it and reimburse you according to your out-of-network benefits.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, HSA and FSA cards, and checks. Payment is due at the time of service. If you have questions about payment arrangements or financial considerations, please reach out — we're happy to have that conversation.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. We understand that life with kids is unpredictable — if something comes up, please reach out as soon as possible and we'll do our best to work with you.
